I’ve been waiting to reveal these guys until the client got to see them. She loved them and so do I. When I was 11 I took a red steer to the county fair in #4H. When I sold him at the obligatory sale, my heart broke. I took a group of 22 country kids 2.5 hours to watch a play about graffiti artists. Their reactions are mixed but maybe for one or two they thought about someone’s perspective they hadn’t considered before so for that, I’ll say it’s a #win #teachingart #culturalawareness #busesstillsmellthesame

#upcloseshot of my most recent piece. I’ve been working my tail off trying to get ready for #strattonfirstfriday When I took some time to reflect today, I realized how far I have come. Less than a year ago I had a hard time even calling myself an artist. I felt like I needed a merit badge handed to me to make me legit. I finally decided that I had to take myself seriously and start finishing things, even when they got hard ESPECIALLY when they got hard.
